Hotel Regulations

§1

Residential rooms in Hotel Alexander, hereinafter referred to as “rooms”, are rented on a daily basis.

The hotel day starts at 14:00 and ends at 12:00 on the following day.

The tenant of the room, hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel Guest”, may – free of charge – occupy the room between 09:00 and 14:00 on the day of arrival, provided that the room is vacant and prepared for rental.

When renting a room, the Hotel Guest specifies the duration of their stay at the hotel. If such information is not provided, it is assumed that the room is rented for one hotel day.

A request to extend the stay beyond the period indicated on the day of arrival should be reported by the Hotel Guest at the reception desk by 10:00 on the day on which the room rental period expires. However, the hotel is not obliged to accept the request for stay extension.

The hotel may refuse to extend the room rental if there are no available rooms.

The Hotel Guest is not entitled to transfer the room being vacated to other persons, even if the period for which the payment for the stay was made has not yet expired.

§2

The hotel provides services in accordance with its category and standard. In case of any reservations regarding the quality of services, the Guest is asked to report them immediately at the reception desk, which will allow the hotel to take appropriate action.

The hotel is obliged to ensure:

a) conditions for full and undisturbed rest of the Guest,
b) safety of the stay, including the protection of personal data and the confidentiality of Guest information,
c) professional and courteous service in all areas of services provided by the hotel,
d) room cleaning and necessary repairs of equipment during the Guest’s absence, and in the Guest’s presence only with their consent,
e) proper technical condition of equipment and installations. In the event of defects that cannot be removed, the hotel will make efforts to – within its available possibilities – change the room or otherwise minimise the inconvenience.

§3

At the Guest’s request, the hotel provides the following services free of charge:

providing information related to the stay and travel,
wake-up calls at a specified time,
safekeeping of money and valuable items during the Guest’s stay at the hotel,
luggage storage; the hotel may refuse to accept luggage for storage outside the Guest’s stay period and items that are not considered personal luggage,
making reservations in other hotels.

§4

The hotel is liable for loss or damage to items brought in by persons using its services to the extent specified in Articles 846–852 of the Civil Code.

The Guest should notify the reception desk about any damage immediately after it is discovered.

§5

The hotel is not liable for damage to or loss of a car or any other vehicle belonging to the Guest, nor for items left inside such vehicles, regardless of whether the vehicles are parked in an unattended hotel parking area, in front of the hotel building, or in its vicinity.

§6

Night quiet hours apply in the hotel from 22:00 to 07:00 of the following day.

Persons who are not registered as hotel guests may not stay in a hotel room between 22:00 and 07:00 of the following day.

§7

Each time the Guest leaves the room, they should check whether the door has been properly closed and leave the card at the reception desk.

The Hotel Guest is financially responsible for any damage or destruction of hotel furnishings and technical equipment caused by the Guest or by persons visiting the Guest.

For fire safety reasons, it is prohibited to use in hotel rooms any devices that are not part of the room’s equipment and that may cause fire, damage to installations, or flooding.

§8

Due to fire protection requirements, smoking tobacco products and electronic cigarettes is strictly prohibited in hotel rooms.

In the event of violating the smoking ban, the Guest will be charged a fee of 500 PLN.

If a fire alarm is triggered as a result of smoking tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, or similar devices, the Guest will be charged a fee of 1,000 PLN.

If the alarm cannot be reset by hotel staff and intervention by the State Fire Service is required due to the Guest’s actions, the Guest will be charged the intervention costs up to 5,000 PLN

§9

Personal belongings left in the hotel room by a departing Guest may be sent to the address indicated by the Guest, at the Guest’s expense.

If such instructions are not received, the hotel will store the left items in the hotel’s Lost and Found Office for one month from the date of check-out.

FIRST AID KIT

To use the first aid kit, please contact the reception desk of Hotel Alexander by phone at 500.

LUGGAGE

The luggage storage room for hotel guests is located in the hotel lobby, near the reception desk of Hotel Alexander.

WAKE-UP CALL

The wake-up call service can be ordered at the reception desk of Hotel Alexander by phone at 500.

HOTEL DAY

The hotel day ends at 12:00. Requests to extend the stay should be reported at the reception desk of Hotel Alexander by 10:00, by phone at 500.

ELECTRICITY

The room and bathroom are supplied with 220 V voltage. For fire safety reasons, please do not use electrical devices that are not part of the room equipment in Hotel Alexander.

INFORMATION

Information is available 24 hours a day at the reception desk of Hotel Alexander – tel. 500.

INTERNET

Internet access is available via Wi-Fi network in Hotel Alexander.

DOCTOR

Information regarding medical services is available at the reception desk of Hotel Alexander – tel. 500.

PARKING

The hotel is not responsible for cars parked in front of Hotel Alexander. Information regarding other parking areas is available at the reception desk – tel. 500.

LAUNDRY AND IRONING

Laundry and ironing services are provided daily in Hotel Alexander. A laundry bag together with
the price list of services is located in the desk drawer.

PETS (DOGS, CATS AND OTHER ANIMALS)

Pets are accepted in Hotel Alexander for an additional fee (50 PLN per day). Please do not bring animals into the restaurant area.

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS

Information is available at the reception desk of Hotel Alexander – tel. 500.

SAFE – DEPOSIT

The safe is located at the reception desk of Hotel Alexander and is available free of charge. The hotel’s liability for damage to or loss of valuables, money, jewellery, securities, or items of scientific or artistic value is limited if such items have not been deposited in the safe.

Storage of items at the reception desk is carried out using a safe bag.

ROOM CLEANING

Room cleaning in Hotel Alexander is carried out between 08:00 and 15:00 and also upon the Guest’s request.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast in the form of a buffet is served daily in the restaurant of Hotel Alexander from 07:00 to 10:00. In the case of an earlier departure from the hotel, it is possible to prepare a “breakfast package”. The order should be placed at the reception desk by 20:00 on the previous day.

TAXIS AND TRANSFERS

Taxi or transfer reservations can be made at the reception desk of Hotel Alexander – tel. 500.

TELEPHONE

To make a telephone call:
• Local call – please dial 0,
• International call – please dial 000.
To connect with a guest staying in the rooms of Hotel Alexander, dial the room number (the call is free of charge).
Charges for telephone calls should be paid at the reception cashier.

WATER

Tap water is not recommended for drinking in Hotel Alexander. Drinking water dispensers are available on each floor.

FIRE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

For fire safety, all persons staying in Hotel Alexander should follow fire protection rules.

It is prohibited to:

bring in or store flammable, toxic, or harmful substances,
use heating devices in rooms such as electric heaters, hot plates, or similar equipment,
leave portable lamps, chargers, or other electrical devices that may cause short circuits unattended,
use damaged electrical devices,
smoke in areas not designated for that purpose,
permanently block entrance doors,
use fire protection equipment contrary to its intended purpose.

In case of fire:

a) raise the alarm by activating the alarm button,
b) inform persons staying in immediately endangered rooms,
c) notify the reception desk of the hotel,
d) if possible, attempt to extinguish the fire using available fire-fighting equipment,
e) leave the room and move towards emergency exits,
f) assist in the evacuation of injured or disabled persons,
g) do not use passenger or freight elevators,
h) if possible, do not open windows or doors.

NOTICE:
Evacuation is carried out only via the staircase, in accordance with the fire evacuation scheme posted on each floor of the building of Hotel Alexander.
Fire detectors are installed in every room of the hotel. Alarm buttons are available on each floor of the building.
